The application of LiDAR in automatic door opening and closing schemes usually has two aspects:


Light curtain detection:Lidar can create an invisible 'light curtain' by emitting a laser beam and detecting its reflected light. When someone passes through this light curtain, the LiDAR will immediately detect and transmit the signal to the door controller. The door controller controls the opening and closing of the door based on the received signal, allowing people to enter and exit freely.


Radar tracking:Lidar can also achieve radar tracking function, which can display the target object on the screen in coordinates relative to the radar system, and then control the opening and closing of the automatic door based on the direction and speed of the target object's movement. This solution is particularly practical in places with high pedestrian traffic, such as airports, shopping malls, etc.

Overall, the application of LiDAR in automatic door opening and closing schemes can improve the safety, stability, and response speed of automatic doors, thereby better serving user needs.
